"In late 1991, as we were drawing up our articles of incorporation, one of the stated purposes of the organization was:

'to recognize the youth and the elderly as our greatest resource and to provide for them as a necessity.'

At that time it was just an ideal. Ten years later, the concept of an intergenerational center took root, and blossomed into the Center as we know it today.
